Purpose and Role of Group
The primary role of the group is to develop a community where logistics and supply chain professionals can connect peer to peer and to develop a network that can support the NHS deliver upon its wider objectives.
Specifically, the group will support with:
- Sharing industry and NHS best practice.
- Creating networking opportunities for logistics and supply chain professionals.
- Identifying opportunities for collaboration (such as standardised operating procedures) and working with partners to deliver benefit to the community.
- Encouraging staff to gain technical, professional, and other skills necessary to perform their roles safely and to the highest standards.
- Encouraging and support staff to develop their own level of competence to maintain continuous development, increase job satisfaction, and achieve their personal and professional potential.
