This report by the Health Tech Alliance details the findings of its Procurement Sub-Group, which was convened to address the persistent barriers within the NHS procurement landscape that hinder the adoption and scaling of proven health technologies (HealthTech).
Drawing on insights from three in-person workshops held between July 2024 and February 2025, which brought together NHS procurement leaders, clinicians, industry representatives, and policymakers, this report provides an overview of the challenges hindering the adoption of HealthTech, and sets out practical recommendations for streamlining the NHS procurement landscape.
