HCSA is delighted to announce that RAF veteran and combat helicopter pilot Sarah Furness will take the motivational speaker slot at the HCSA Winter Conference 2023.
Sarah has 20 years of military service as an RAF helicopter pilot, squadron leader, mentor, and facilitator.
She led operational combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and, during her experiences both at home and at war, has learnt that tough and capable people don’t always feel as strong as they look, which prompted her to re-train and harness her experience and passion for helping people use their brains as a force for good.
Sarah has developed her own unique Healthy Automatic Behaviours in Threatening Scenarios (H.A.B.I.TS.) Formula – a way to train the mind to be a Jedi master under pressure and accomplish zen-like levels of self-belief and inner calm.
Her approach is robust whilst being non-invasive and good-humoured and is a motivational speaker on a mission to help people feel as strong as they look.
Sarah will be talking at 10am on day two of the conference on 29 November.
Date: 13 November
