Former HCSA Chief Officer Alan Hoskins is returning to the organisation to form part of the business support team under our new Chief Officer Keith Rowley.
The appointment will provide continuity as HCSA transitions to a new era of leadership and a revised structure under Keith.
Alan will oversee key business support areas with a focus on HCSA systems, procedures, processes and communications, along with providing support to the overall HCSA structure alongside fellow team members Kath Ibbotson, Marc Ibbotson, and Bruce Ackland.
Keith said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Alan back to HCSA. He will form a key part of what we believe is a really strong team with Marc, Kath, and Bruce. Given his extensive experience and respect in the industry, the opportunity to keep Alan as part of the HCSA family was one we were never going to turn down.”
Alan Hoskins served as HCSA Chief Officer for four years and, despite making the decision to retire from the NHS earlier this year, the opportunity to continue to serve the organisation he feels so passionate about was an easy one to take.
He explained: “I needed little encouragement to continue to serve HCSA when presented with the opportunity and I am excited to be part of a new and revised support team where the sky is the limit. I’ve already hit the floor running by supporting our fabulous PDP programme with Marc and look forward to reconnecting with the Trustees and National Council in October.”
