HCSA Trustee Professor Duncan Eaton is stepping down as Chair of the GS1 Healthcare Advisory Board.
Following the news, HCSA Chief Officer Keith Rowley paid tribute to Duncan’s support of GS1 and its mission of improving data quality over the years.
Keith said: “Duncan is a passionate advocate of improving data quality in healthcare and this has been demonstrated throughout his many years of commitment at GS1, HCSA and his other influential roles in the industry.”
Sara Ford from NHS Supply Chain has been named new Chair of the GS1 Healthcare Advisory Board and we wish her all the best in the role.
Keith added: “It’s good to see colleagues at NHS Supply Chain supporting GS1 as they drive forward initiatives to raise Inventory Management Systems adoption across the NHS.”
