On the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee, HCSA would like to thank Her Majesty The Queen for the extraordinary service she has given to the country over the last 70 years.
The Queen is a remarkable symbol of dedication and leadership and reached out to the HCSA on our 60th anniversary with a letter to thank the NHS procurement community for its own service over the years.
HCSA Chief Officer Keith Rowley said: “It’s remarkable to think The Queen was already leading the country a decade before the inception of the HCSA and her letter to the organisation on our 60th anniversary was a wonderful gesture from a great leader. We hope everyone can take some time to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee over the coming bank holiday”.
HCSA Chairman Mark Roscrow commented: “Since the beginning of her reign in February 1952, Her Majesty has been unwavering in her support of public servants and the Platinum Jubilee is a perfect occasion to thank her and to wish her well from HCSA .”
Lord Hunt of King’s Heath, HCSA President, added: “The first ever Platinum Jubilee for a British Monarch is an achievement of truly historic significance. I wish Her Majesty our loyal greetings and very best wishes for the celebrations.”
